Turns out Whip doesn't like rain. She ran through the swamp w/ glee so I don't think getting her paws wet is an issue. This morning though she sat down by the front door and wouldn't go further because it was raining pretty hard. Other people have commented that she does have a stubborn streak. I let her know it's OK not to want to do something but I'm the Alpha. Once she got going on the walk she seemed to enjoy herself (though she did do that whole-body dog shake a couple of times). Can hardly wait to introduce my Texas-bred dog to snow!
