Bunny Plaque


 Excerpts from the Sheriff's Report:

12:10 a.m. - A woman reported being followed.  Determined to be a deer.

8:30 a.m. - Firearm left at a motel and reported to law enforcement center.

9:00 a.m. - Trespassing of angry old neighbors attempting to take a citizen's cats.

10:40 a.m. - Report of a missing child who went for a bike ride.  Determined the child's bike chain broke and she had to walk home.

12:47 p.m. - Report of a neighbor running water onto a citizen's yard.  Citizen was told water running onto a yard is not a crime.

1:00 p.m. - Rats reported to be harboring in a shed.

1:06 p.m. - Harassments reported by someone believing her room was bugged and people were listening to her conversations.

2:09 p.m. - Champagne minivan reported to be all over the road.  Determined to be an elderly driver.

2:30 p.m. - Male standing in a backyard with a rifle.  

2;37 p.m. - Juveniles reported to be using profanities in the swimming area of the park.  Juveniles were counseled about their behavior.  

3:35 p.m. - Report of someone running over a fence with a tractor and stealing hay.

3:51 p.m. - Officer flagged down by citizen who caught a live skunk.  Citizen given tips on how to release it without getting sprayed.

6:33 p.m. - Report of a dog barking all day.  Officer briefly spoke with dog owner before slamming door in his face.  [Assume it was the dog owner doing the slamming.]

7:21 p.m. - Caller reporting a dog was barking after he threw firecrackers at the dog.

8:22 p.m. - Welfare check for woman stressed about running out of cigarettes.

8:30 p.m. - Juveniles reported to be attempting to break into a residence.  Determined the boys were tired and looking for a place to drink their sodas.
