Watched part of 'The First Deadly Sin' on TV tonight. I caught the credits at the beginning. In bold it said 'Miss Dunaway's clothes designed by Theoni Aldredge' (or something similar). So I thought I'd check out the costumes. Frank Sinatra plays the protagonist police detective and Faye Dunaway is his wife in this picture. We first see her in a hospital bed where she has undergone emergency surgery. I'll admit I wasn't watching the movie closely (was baking cinnamon rolls) but I never saw her get out of that bed. I'm not sure how Theoni Aldredge (as good as she was) managed such a prominent credit for designing one nightgown that we never saw more of than from the arms up.
