Turkeys

I think I'm back 'on-line' but it will take awhile to be sure.  Late last year my printer stopped being reliable.  The space key on my computer had come off awhile ago and I'd just put it back in place whenever it stopped working.  Finally my router stopped transmitting wirelessly so I hardwired it into the laptop.  Time for new hardware.  I'd planned on getting a new computer this year anyway since my old system was getting quite old and acting a bit funky form time to time.  Went over to Hayes PCs.  Two guys that like computers and will order and set up anything you want.  I told them my requirements and they did the research, ordering, setup, and data transfer.  Picked it up today and, as advertised, I plugged it in and it all worked.  Of course, I did lose some things.  My e-mail passwords had to be reset (think I'll switch over to a more generic e-mail system like g-mail sometime).  The software that interacts w/ my camera was lost so I reinstalled that and am still figuring out how to get it to work as it did before.  There will probably be other things that need to be tweaked.  What surprised me the most is that being w/o a computer for the last five days hasn't bothered me half as much as I thought it would.  Good to know.
