I knew the forecast was snow but when Indy and I stepped out this morning for our constitutional it was surprising just how much snow had fallen. In reality only a few inches but enough that I decided to move the car into the garage in case the plow guy stopped by. He must have read the forecast too since he didn't plow - the snow stopped by mid-morning and it warmed up enough to even melt a bit. I hadn't realized the melting put a thin layer of ice under the snow so got in my first falls of the snow season. Slipped hard on my left side when I took the kitchen scraps out for recycling and on my butt when I went out to rescue Dunder. Guess it's time to start using the Winter Waddle Walk.

Made me think of our cross country skiing adventure at Fort Snelling. Don't think I ever laughed so much.
Well close anyway - there was that coffee incident...
