My brown thrasher from the spring is back - or maybe she never left. Anyway, happy to see her hunting through the grass and hope she eats enough to be on her way soon. If temps continue like today, the ground will soon freeze. Her winter home area includes Arizona, Texas, and Florida. If my family there sees her, be sure to say hi.
