'Hazel-eyed' Susans

I started out the day w/ an early dentist appointment.  When my teeth were cleaned last week, the hygienist had noticed a little 'bubble' on my gum and was worried it might be an abscess.  The doc wasn't in that day so I got an appointment to see him today.  He couldn't find anything wrong, took an X-ray and didn't show anything either.  Chalked it up to some scar tissue and only charged me for the X-ray.  Great.  Got to the library in time for Coffee and Conversation.  The librarian brought in fudge brownies in honor of my birthday.  They were excellent.  When I got home the plumber that I've been waiting for two weeks was working in the garage.  He finished and now I have working faucets, shower, and toilet in there.  Of course he also left his bill but that was expected.  Had rain off and on during the day so I didn't feel the need to mow the lawn or walk the woods.  Took a nap instead.  Tonight at the library since the Summer Reading Program is over it was blissfully quiet.  I received presents and cards in the mail, cards on the computer, and calls wishing me a Happy Birthday.   Plus it was a good hair day!  This has got to be one of my best birthdays - kinda wish I remembered which one it was.
