The Wild Wild Midwest

I walked out after the builder had left the second day of mudding and daubing to see the progress.  I was struck how much the tools of his trade reminded me of an old TV Western.  His tool belt was slung over a sawhorse:  hammer and square in the holsters w/ a  bandoleer of screws.  On the other side of the room he'd looped an extension cord into a loose lariat.  Mind you my builder is not a 'cowboy builder' - a term which has negative connotations.  I just found the imagery analogous.

Like the analogy. Had to look up bandoleer. Your blogs are educational.
