Paint
The builder let me know it was time to think about getting paint plus some fixtures that the electricians would install. I had decided the garage would be white, the workroom grey. (My niece said grey was an 'in' color right now. Cool.) I drove to a builders supply store and picked up primer, ceiling paint, bathroom/kitchen paint, and regular paint for everything else. Of course there was more to it than that - what tone of grey and what paint finish did I want? Made those decisions. The bathroom vanity lights could be separate or part of a medicine cabinet. Decided to go w/ separate and will mount a mirror to the wall below them. Thought I'd pick up fixtures in the same style I had in my current house. After all, I liked them. However, while I able to find the same kind, I decided on something totally different. I also needed an overhead fan and light in the workroom. Lots to choose from but most had glass fixtures and I wanted something in keeping w/ a workroom ambiance. Decided on one in nice gleaming metal. I drove back. Let the builder know I had everything requested on-hand and that I was 'decisioned out' and would not be making any more for the remainder of the day.
