Finished the book I've been reading - a Voodoo murder mystery. Paged through the Christmas cookbook I ordered from another library. Interesting recipes but none I can use - either calls for components I don't have, wouldn't eat if I did have them, or not really sure what it is. Started the next book I picked up from the library - another murder mystery but set in the future. The theme for the GNO Christmas present this year is 'Dealer's Choice'. I didn't know what that was when it was suggested. It was explained to me that it means you can give any gift you want. That seemed just a bit too conventional for us so we added a kicker. It must be accompanied by a short story (or poem) featuring the gift and written by the giver. Think I'll get started by taking elements I like from all of the books I read this year. So far I've got a Christmas Voodoo story which occurs in the future. What kind of gift goes w/ that?
