Red Maple flowers





           


                                       I'm trying to learn how to bake cinnamon rolls.   My mother's were excellent.  Last week I made pecan cinnamon rolls and managed to eat the last one this morning.  They were OK but the dough portion was dry - real dry.  Looked on-line for another recipe today so I'll try another batch.  I figure if I can add a dish or two to my repertoire every year, eventually I'll figure out this whole cooking thing.

Dan still talks about Mom's cinnamon rolls! I don't know how she made them in the early years, but in her later years, she made them using frozen bread dough. She told me this around 5:00 am one day when I was visiting. Ha!
