Found a site on the Internet that suggested your dog should have it's own blanket and stuffed animal.  The idea is that the dog will handle stress better if it has it's own familiar things around - like a blanket and a stuffed animal.  So an old soft white blanket became 'Indy's blanket' and a stuffed rabbit became 'Indy's' also.  I put the blanket down on the floor.  Indy walked around it.  I placed the stuffed rabbit next to Indy when she was sleeping.  She woke up and left the area.  Both the blanket and bunny are on the window seat where she likes to sit and look outside.  However, as you can see, the cats enoy them more than she does.  Must remember to always verify what I read on the Internet.
