View from my couch
The elves did their magic again and when I got up the driveway had been cleared of drifts. All I needed to do was shovel out the front doorway. Cold enough to cause the snow to 'coagulate' so when I opened up the back door, the snow that had drifted up against it didn't even fall into the house. I threw sunflower seeds atop the drift. Figured the birds or bunny would come to eat the seeds and amuse the cats. What did occur was a mouse, smelling the food source, decided the best way of getting to the top of a three foot drift was to squeeze between the glass in the door and the snow drift. Dunder pounced. The mouse fled in terror. The glass pane in between them didn't move. Cats are pertinacious and Dunder (spelled occasionally by Blitz) watched the door all day attacking every time the mouse tried for the seeds again. Not exactly sure why neither hunter nor prey ever figured out the glass made all of their actions moot. Hmm... sounds like a fun experiment.

Amazing! Yes, you're snowed in for a while.
