Q - Lacquer

I don't know that any of these cans contain lacquer but this is everything I've got in the cupboard set aside for wood working stuff.  I probably should clean it out but every so often it's nice to have a finish on-hand for small projects. 

Lacquer came into English in the 16th century.  The word came from the Portuguese lacre meaning sealing wax - from the Arabic lakk - from the Persian lak - from Urdu lakh - from Sanskrit laksa.
