Look carefully and you can see the village water tower on the horizon next to a microwave tower. This is as far south as the sun will rise. Now starts it's journey back to the east and eventually the sun will rise so far to the north that I won't be able to see it from this position on the deck. I like this time of year when I can sit at my dining room table after breakfast, lingering over a second cup of coffee, and watch sunrise. Don't even have to get up early to do it.
