The Elms in autumn

 

I placed the three rabbit statue's feet under the sewer cover handholds and ran the metal chains over them too.  When the winter winds start it may not keep them from tipping over but should stop them from becoming airborne.  Also moved the cacti to my bedroom.  Through the winter they will need sunlight but no water.  Mostly just want to tuck them into an area where I won't rub past them - that hurts big time.  Cleaned out a few more herb pots.  I keep a running list of autumn tasks on my white board.  I write down new items to the list when I notice/remember something that needs to done and erase items off when they are accomplished.  Today I took three off but added two more.
