Stand of Paper Birches

A good Sunday service.  The little kids came in waving palm fronds and there was a special presentation by another group of youngsters.  We all settled down then to the sermon. The pastor varied from the Faith@Home series to give a talk on the subject of worship.  Reminded me of a forensic contest when I was in high school.  I had titled my 8-minute original oratory "Worship Is ..." (that format w/ the following three dots was a popular one back then).  Got me to thinking that if I was to write that same speech today it would be quite different.   Almost fifty years does effect changes in a person.
