Sunrise

A dusting of snow over everything this morning.  I was a little surprised - thought it would come later in the day when it would be warm enough to fall as rain. Oh well, it covers up some of the 'snert'.   I had to replace the shower head this morning.  It's a simple install but it took me three times to get it right (a difference of opinion between me and the instructions of the definition of 'shower head' ).  When I was finally done w/ that install  I saw all of the toilet tissue unrolled in a heap on the floor and one of the lower pictures knocked off the wall and broken.  Kittens had a busy morning.  They had also found a pair of shoes that I forgot to leave in the foyer.  Had figured out how to worry the inside foot sole out of one.   They had taken a toy mouse, dropped it in the dog's water dish, batted it out of the water (lots of water on the floor around the dish), and dropped the sodden toy inside the other shoe.  I then went to replace the toilet lid in my bathroom.  While I was there decided to fix a slow leak that had developed over the winter from the tank.  I made it much worse.   I turned off the water to that toilet and called a plumber.  By the end of the day I'd left messages for three different plumbers. None of them called back. Must have felt frustrated 'cause I turned some rock music up high and danced my little heart out.  Felt much better letting off some steam.  If none of the plumbers call back by mid morning tomorrow I'll try some more numbers.
