Coyote

There are no lights on the ski hill tonight.  The snow has melted away from the house and there are even pockets of bare ground in the fields.  Could it be the downhill skiing season is already over?  I haven't seen coyotes this winter and others have mentioned that they haven't heard many of them.  Indy let this one know to keep it's distance so it skirted around the edge of the meadow.  Suppose w/ the protective layer of snow thinning and the ground too hard to make new tunnels, the little voles and field mice are easier prey now.
