My friend Kathy came over on Friday. Her original plan was to come on Saturday but there were storm warnings for the area. The snow started on Friday at noon and this morning it had drifted around the house. Kathy spent most of the winter in sunnier climes so wanted to take advantage of this chance to walk in snow. Since Indy and I had already done our morning constitutional, we stayed back at the house and just watched. Thought her pink coat was a nice "Easterish' addition to the 8" of spring precipitation we received.

The fresh snow makes it bright I bet, but it seems like you guys are having a long winter. Wonder what the cranes are thinking -came north too early?
