Before I can put away everything for autumn, some things have to be washed - like throw rugs. Today was sunny, above 20 degrees, and windy. About as good as it was going to get for air drying them. Since the trees have lost their foliage and the ground is covered w/ snow, there isn't much to slow down the wind though once it gets going. Noon I retrieved three of the rugs from the snow. I finished them off in the dryer. Everything is ready to put into the window seat - as soon as I can find a way to do it w/o the kittens 'helping'.
