Frost Moon

Overwintering the geraniums using the dry root method this year.  I tried this once before but kinda forgot about them and they were all dead by spring.  Because of the above freezing weather lasting into November this year, I thought I'd give it another try.  I've done two planters and will try to do the rest tomorrow.  The plants need to be watered about once a month in this method.  I can put the roots in water but a friend says she just sprinkles them.  Either way, plan on repotting them in January/February again.
