A perfect for a long walk. Indy and I took off late and went through the swamps via the logging path and old railroad right-of-way. As we were about to take the final cut through the woods home, the setting sun broke through the clouds and suddenly the whole aspen forest burned golden. A pretty end for the walk. Once home I looked back to where the sun had set and saw a faint sun pillar. That's caused by ice crystals in the air - a sure sign we are in for a cold night.
