Met my friend Nancy and her husband Don for breakfast. Remember how I said she hadn't broken anything when she fell during their vacation? Well turns out that wasn't exactly true. She broke her elbow so her arm is in a sling for awhile. Her leg still hurts too so, just to check that her leg doesn't have a hairline fracture, she's going in for a x-ray on that too. Other than that they were both enjoying the rest of their vacation at home. I found out from Don that bear hunting has already begun for baiters (using dogs is allowed later in the season). Probably explains why I've heard gun shots from my neighbor's property this weekend. From the continuing shooting I'm guessing he hasn't gotten a bear yet.
