Common Green Darner dragonfly (male)

Found this darner flying around the pond. It's about the largest dragonfly species we have. This one looks a little like a Cyclops since it has an extra eyespot on the top of it's head (an easy way to tell the males from the females). I've recently been told that the dragonfly is a symbol of good luck. Not so sure about that. Think while I was taking a picture, Indy was chomping this one's brother.
