American Toad

Herdsman called in sick this morning so the owners were around for milking. Nice calm morning. Well, there was this thunderstorm raging outside for the whole five hours. As Domingo and I were scrubbing the parlor afterward, he asked me "¿Cómo se dice 'Tornado' en Inglés?" I said it was the same in English but w/ a different sound on the "a". Figured coming from a coastal town in Mexico, he'd only heard about them and was a little concerned. I assured him we wouldn't be having one today. The owners walked through the parlor just then and Eric told Domingo that the bathroom was the safest place to go in a tornado. Carol and I both agreed that we would stay in the milking pit and roll under the overhang below where the cows stand. Don't know if this made Domingo feel any better. As for me, my mind is still stuck on which Old Time Radio Western character's horse was named "Tornado"?

Looked up horse name. Radio show maybe Zorro? Wonder if that was the toad I saw at your place. Biggest toad I ever remember seeing.
