At the GNO, my friend Kris said her place would be part of a garden tour the next weekend. Kris is a member of Wild Ones, an organization that encourages the use of native plants. This week she sent some pictures taken at her home during the tour. Kris can be just as enthusiastic about getting rid of invasive plants. Word is she's knocked on strangers doors to ask if she can pull garlic mustard that has invaded their sidewalk boulevard. Thought we should make her some business-like cards: "Kris Martinka - Master Gardener". Might smooth out introductions in those circumstances.
