My brothers Brent and Phil are visiting. It's Brent's birthday today so our other brother Russell came over tonight and we had a pizza party. I'm not used to giving birthday parties. Lit a large candle and placed it in the middle of the table. Instead of cake, I cut out tiny shortbread cookies in leaf shapes and decorated them w/ strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate frostings. Brent opened up birthday cards and a couple of presents. (I got him a car! It's about 2" by 1/2" and included Hello Kitty decals that he can apply.) Phil did an abbreviated rendition of Happy Birthday. Think we covered all of the obligatory elements of a birthday party.
