Sandhill Crane

The boss told me Land-O-Lakes has asked it's Eastern and Southern region suppliers to stop giving BST to their milk cows. The reason given was due to consumer requests. He figured it was just a matter of time before the Central region, where we are located, would also have to stop. The dairy here started giving selected cows BST shots awhile ago - right after we lost a cow due to a fatty liver. BST makes the cow's system work a bit more so she is less likely to put on fat. I asked the boss if the cows would experience any effects when taken off BST. "Well," he replied, "a few might have a career change."
