Blue Vervain

I haven't had any real dental work done in a long time. I go in for my semi-yearly cleanings but that's it. Probably because all of my teeth have been filled or capped for years.. At my last checkup, the dentist said one of my old fillings was breaking down and needed to be replaced. As if to convince me, he stuck his probe into the middle of the filling and it stuck. Yep, it needed to be replaced. So today I went to the dentist's office. The assistant got me situated in the chair and started small talk to put me at ease - Wasn't it a spectacular day?/Did I have a nice lunch? Seeing I had the local newspaper w/ me, she said she was new to the area and asked me if there much crime here. "Not much." I replied. "They had a case of a guy burying a corpse recently but we don't get much of that." She smiled. "Cause," I continued, "he was an amateur and most people around here know better ways of making a body disappear." Just then, the dentist came in and we got to business. He was very good and I was out of the chair within 30 minutes. I didn't talk directly to the assistant again. Can't wait for our next "small talk" conversation.

When I first took Dan to the "northwoods", he said the same thing - it would be easy for a body to disappear. He was just a little nervous. A city boy, you know. We only get rid of the ones who make us angry. LOL
