Sunrise through clouds
The boss walked into the milking parlor this morning and said he had an announcement. "I am not running for president." he proclaimed. (Actually, he's probably better qualified than some of the people that will run.) He then lamenting the rain this morning would postpone his planting that last field of corn. He said he just sits and listens to NPR (National Public Radio) while planting. The tractor uses GPS steering and there isn't much to do on a long flat field. Reminded me that on the way home yesterday, someone was standing at the edge of the road wearing a bright lime green vest. I followed the guy's gaze and saw a tractor coming through the field toward him. The tractor driver was using the guy w/ the vest as a guidepost - the old way of making straight rows. (Real old since Dad would sometimes have me play guidepost when he was planting.)

NPR is my radio station, of choice, too. Always interesting even if I don't always agree with the content. Makes me think!
