Fleur-de-lis Cross

My nephew, Gideon, had called me last night and we worked out that he would stoke the furnace at Russell & Donna's place in the morning before he went to work and I would do it at night before I went to bed. The outside wood burner is the main provider of heat for their house and needs to be fed a diet of split wood every 12 hours. So I set a daily alarm on my phone as a reminder and tonight I bopped over to the house. It was already dark so I was quite happy to see the yard light had been left on. There was a good supply of kindling available nearby. Wasn't long at all before the furnace was full and burning merrily. No one had said anything about feeding the dogs though. I went onto the porch to make sure they had something to eat. That's when the door to the house opened and Donna looked out tentatively. Oops ... I didn't know she would be home and no one had told her I'd be skulking around after dark. We were both happy to find out it was only us.
