Tag Alder cones
The boss was spreading liquid manure on one of their further fields. When he finished he shut down the PTO but he had that nagging feeling he had forgotten something. He started back to the farm over town roads. A car was coming toward him just as the road started going down toward a bridge over a creek. The small amount of manure left in the tank sloshed forward and into a pipe which fed the still active sprayer (which the boss had forgotten to also turn off). A cloud of manure went out over the car just as it passed. The boss stopped and looked back thinking he would be paying for a car wash but the other car just kept going. No way for the boss to catch up to apologize. Maybe the other car's driver thought a bath in manure was (a) just the price one pays for living in the country; (b) not that important in the big scheme of things; (c) karma.
