Making Snow on the Ski Hill

I usually see the ski hill make snow at night when we experience the coldest temps. Today, they were making it during the day. Partly because it's pretty cold already and partly in an effort to get a good base so they can open around Thanksgiving. When the ski hill starts making snow, you know we are into the winter season (whether the calendar says so or not).
