Indy
Having a "warm" spell of weather - in the 50's for the last couple of days. So nice that I even found ticks crawling on me again. However, the woods aren't particularly photographic right now. All of the leaves have fallen except for the tamarack and red oak. The tamarack will shed their needles soon but the red oak will stubbornly hang onto their leaves until the spring. The loss of foliage does make it easier to see the local fauna. There is one young deer that has been coming into my yard the last few afternoons. She was cute until I saw her nibbling on my little lilacs. I tapped on the windows and she nonchalantly walked off down one of the trails. Hope she smartens up before hunting season.
