I was watching TV and saw someone making kabobs on the grill and suddenly had a hankering. I don't own a grill so that seemed a bit problematic until I got on-line and found some sites that suggested broiling kabobs instead. A note on one of the pages said that since the vegis, fruit, and meat finish at different times, you might want to broil them separately. OK, why not? Marinated the meat over the afternoon. Tonight I got out the smoky olive oil my niece gave me and went to work. Even fixed some rice for a bed. Made some mistakes, learned some lessons, but it all tasted quite good. Next time, it will be even better!
