It came to me during work this morning that Indy and I hadn't taken a long walk through the swamps for awhile. As soon as I got back home, showered, picked up the library key (for tomorrow) and my mail, we took off. Our walks usually last between 45 minutes to an hour. By the time we had traversed the swamps it was already 1 1/2 hours. Now all Indy and I had to do was walk through a slough, up an old trail to where it meets one of my mower paths and then home. That took all of another 1/2 hour however. Found some flowers in the slough that I don't often see so, of course, had to take some pictures. Then I stopped to graze on raspberries growing everywhere along the trail. Finally had to convince Indy to leave a bird's nest alone. She minded surprisingly well (probably too tired to eat the little fledglings anyway). Should sleep pretty well tonight.
