Wild Raspberries

Justin was suppose to come into work on Tuesday but had called the owners to say he had "slept in." He was told not to bother to come in that day but to report on Thursday. This morning he was on time. I thought we might be seeing a new & improved Justin. He was turned over to me after milking to help scrub. I put him on walls again and once more he spent a lot of energy grunting and groaning w/ the effort. Did I have the heart to tell him once he finished w/ the walls, to scrub the back of the door to the parlor? Oh yes I did (otherwise, I'd have to do it.) He decided first he needed a drink of water which took him awhile (trouble finding a glass?) When I went to get clean water in my bucket I saw his mom was waiting in her car. We weren't finished yet but I let him go after he said he was done w/ the door. While finishing up, I saw that Justin had taken me quite literally. The jamb and casing were still filthy but the door itself was clean. Oh well, baby steps.
