You aren't checking on my eggs!

Stopped by the Sheriff's office to drop off my signed fireworks permit from the town. When I shoot off fireworks, if someone calls the sheriff to complain about the noise, he'll have the permit on file and not send out officers. On the other hand, if the DNR determines the countryside is too dry, they will inform the Sheriff and he'll contact everyone w/ on the fireworks list and tell them that he is pulling their permit. Note that the town doesn't charge for a permit nor does the Sheriff's office charge to process the form. One of those times when governmental agencies actually serve the public.
