Pussy Willows

The dairy is advertising for Jody's replacement. The first ad was for the morning shift Friday thru Tuesday. No one applied. They changed it to just the weekend. The boss said one person applied but it wasn't someone he would hire. First, the boss knew him because he had worked on a crew that came in to combine a few years ago. The boss wasn't impressed w/ his work ethic then. The guy had interviewed for a milking job last year. It's the boss's policy to call back all applicants to let them know if they got the job or not. When the boss called this guy back to let him know he didn't get the job, the guy hung up on him. When the guy applied this time they set up an appointment for Wednesday at 2 p.m. The guy didn't show. He did come by on Thursday afternoon. The boss said, "Where were you?" "Oh, I had trouble w/ my car." replied the guy. "Why didn't you call me to reschedule?" asks the boss. "Didn't think of it. Are you going to hold that against me?" said the guy. He probably still can't figure out why he didn't get the job.
