Rain this morning and then, on the way home, there it was. I saw a bare patch of ground on a south-facing slope. Could it really be? Maybe. After my shower, I sat down and fell asleep almost immediately. Woke up to a snow storm so heavy that I couldn't see the woods for awhile. Suppose to get a few inches tonight. That patch of bare ground, if that's what it was, will be gone tomorrow.
