The Invisible Car

Aunt June's nurse smiled when she saw me come in, "I told her you would come today. Then I worried that you might not be able to." That reminded me that nursing home staff aren't allowed to lie to a resident. I guess I don't think lying is a big deal on the memory ward where Aunt June lives - or maybe I just find lying useful at times. Like when a new milker was afraid the cow would hurt her when she put on a milking unit. I told her that the cow couldn't kick her. After that assurance she became more confident as she worked. Later, Carol, the dairy owner, ruefully looked at me, "You know the cows can still kick." I just smiled. Yes, after two black eyes, I kinda did know that. Still, it worked wonders on getting that new milker trained in.

Cool shots at night or dusk with the lights! Reminds me of Thomas Kinkade.
