Icy Sunset

 I went out on the deck before sunrise. Indy came out w/ me, leaped off the deck, and was 40 yards down the path before realizing she'd been running through frigid, ice covered snow. She sat down to lick at her paws. I encouraged her to come back and got her in the house. Guess she still was cold because at first she refused my proffered doggie treat (something unheard of). That's how cold it was this morning! We didn't go for a walk today. Instead we would trudge halfway down the driveway every two hours or so. That was enough for Indy (and me.)
