The dairy is building a new calf barn to the south east of the milking parlor. The design isn't yet complete - Evan, the owner's son - is taking a 16 week Ag course at the university and part of his course work is to complete the plans. However, the owners want to get the land leveled and ready for construction next year. This week the contractor has a large cat breaking ground. Even though there is someone in the cab, the big blade in front is controlled by lasers set at the edges of the area. Maybe not as much fun for the operator but perfectly level.
