Eastern Black Nightshade

As soon as we started milking this morning, two men walked into the parlor and began replacing inflations (the rubber insert in the milker that fits over each cow's teat). Eric had said that the dairy would be the alpha test site for a new brand. I was dubious.  Before long I could see they were noticeably better - cows milked out more evenly. I told the herdsman who went back through data and could see that even the slow cows were finishing 4 minutes faster. The owners were concerned that the cows might not like the feel of the new inflations but they weren't kicking or upset more than usual. I don't like that these inflations are noisier than the old ones. That brand had a patent on the air release valve so the new ones had to use something else.  However the reps from the company were pretty happy w/ the overall results.
