June Library Display

My neighbor, Doug Dearhamer, was kind enough to put in his rock display at the library this month. It worked out extremely well. The Brazilian agate slabs on clear stands were at the top of the display near the lights. They allowed the light to shine through to the next shelf strewn w/ Lake Superior agates.

The librarian was especially excited to see a display of rocks. She asked if she could put the notice of the Children's Summer Reading Program in the display. The reading program this year is called "Digging into Reading" and the librarian thought the rocks made a nice tie in w/ that theme. Have had a number of compliments on the display. Hopefully, Mr. Dearhamer will let me leave it in place for a little while longer. I still haven't gotten a display for July!
