Jose wasn't at the dairy when we started work this morning. Not too unusual, he's been late before. Eric, the dairy owner, walked in later and told the herdsman that Jose doesn't work here anymore. Seems last week, Eric & Carol had a talk w/ Jose about some issues including being late. Eric called it a "Come To Jesus" meeting (at Honeywell we called it putting someone on "short-term objectives"). Jose had to make it into work on time or he would no longer be employed. I'll miss Jose. Hope the new guy knows Spanish.
