White-throated Sparrow

In a weak moment I agreed to join the town's planning committee after I was no longer clerk. I had been a member a long time ago. When my 2-year term was done, I just didn't re-up. Tonight was the first meeting for my new term. I wasn't looking forward to it and wondered if the committee chairman would really hold me to my promise. However, I had said I would, so I better show up. The meeting turned out to be very productive and interesting. This might not be so bad. (That's Northwoods speak for "I'll enjoy this.")
