Snow Squall

The snow started before I went to bed last night. Therefore, it wasn't a shock when I opened up the garage door this morning and looked out on a world covered w/ five inches of white stuff. The whole day has alternated between bright sunshine one moment to high winds w/ snow showers the next. At times it was hard to see where the sky ended and earth began. I had errands planned but after picking up my mail decided to just go home and stay put. Tonight it will clear off and we may have record cold (for April anyway). I had been hoping this was the last of winter but our forecast is for more snow on Sunday. Nothing else to do but grin and bear it.
