Belt of Venus

I like paying any outstanding debts before the start of the new year. Right after work, I bopped over to the treasurer's home and paid my property taxes. Then made out all of my Thank You cards for Christmas gifts (at least I hope I got all of them). I got on-line and made donations to the charitable organizations that I usually give to. Doing this at a set time of the year has worked out well for me. I don't have to try and remember if I gave or have already given. Come to think about it, I have a similar problem w/ magazine subscriptions - seems right after I renew, they are sending me more renewal notices. Maybe I'll just start renewing all of them at the end of the year, too.
